History
History of GKRI Malang:
It began with the fellowship of several servants of God pioneered by Rev. Young Chang Lee, with the help of Mrs. Milka Tarumidi, with the early congregation, people on the banks of the Kasin Keramat river in Malang, and held worship services on Jalan Raya Langsep, Malang.
Then in 2006, Rev. Young Chang Lee handed over the ministry to Pastor Milka Tarumidi. Thus, the pioneered POS PI joined the GKRI synod in April 2006 while ordaining Sahat Nadeak, and Milka Tarumidi as pastors.
then in June 2006 the place of worship moved from Jalan Raya Langsep to Pondok Alam Sigura-Gura Housing, Malang. On July 7, 2009, the congregation moved to Jalan Abdul Rahman Saleh Gg Nadeak no.1, Asrikaton, Pakis, Malang. To this day.
The GKRI Malang congregation adheres to the vision and mission of the GKRI synod. With the development of additions related to service needs, according to the circumstances of the congregation.
Mission & Vision
VISION :
– The pastor of the congregation holds the highest leadership in thelocal congregation
– Local congregations have autonomous status to manage the household affairs of their own congregations.
– In a forum of togetherness between local congregations, local congregations form synod central assemblies (MPS) and regional assemblies (MD).
– The GKRI synod is the umbrella of the local congregation
